Life by Design Therapy is a holistic therapy group practice that values cultural competency, LGBTQ+ sensitivity, and holistic healing for our diverse Bay Area communities. We are currently hiring part-time and full-time W-2 employees.

THE 5 MAIN FUNCTIONS OF A CLINICAL THERAPIST AT LIFE BY DESIGN THERAPY ARE:

• Delivering high-quality Individual, Couples, or Family therapy sessions to our diverse Bay Area clients.

• Writing and maintaining clinical notes using our secure EHR system.

• Developing treatment plans for client care using holistic and somatic treatment approaches

• Attending every other month team meetings (Monday mornings) for team collaboration and support.

• Attending in-house trainings for professional development and growth throughout the year.

We are looking for a Licensed Clinician (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD) to provide outpatient therapy to clients of Life by Design Therapy.  Clinical therapy services include treatment of adults, adolescents, children, couples and families. Treatment specialties may include; teens, children, couples, or trauma therapy.  

Part- Time Positions: Must be available to hold between 16-20 client sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and scheduled by Life by Design Therapy. Hours must include some evenings (2 minimum) and a 2+ hour shift on the weekend (remote okay).

Full- Time Positions: Must be available to hold at least 25 client sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and scheduled by Life by Design Therapy. Hours must include some evenings (2-3 minimum) and a 2+ hour shift on the weekend (remote okay).

Remote Only Positions: Full flexibility over schedule

FLEXIBLE START DATE: CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR ONE CLINICIAN TO START IMMEDIATELY.

• Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling, psychology, or social work

• Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LCPC) in the State of CA.  A copy must be provided to Life by Design Therapy.

• Available to hold the number of client sessions identified for part-time or full-time positions per week.

• Must have competency in providing a form of holistic psychotherapy to clients.  (Somatic, Transpersonal, Expressive Arts, Hakomi, Narrative, etc.)

• Have experience and a dedication to supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and interracial/multicultural couples and families.

• Must be open to provide community offerings in the form of group therapy, workshops, speaking engagements, trainings, blogging, etc. 

• Candidates must not work in another group or solo practice.

• Willing and able to commit to Life by Design Therapy for at least 2 years.

• Prior experience in a private practice setting.

• At least three years’ experience post-unrestricted licensure.
